This compressed file contains a few Gnome Panel skins (for 24px panels.) For my own use, I wanted a panel that appeared to *not* be docked to the edge of the screen, but rather a few pixels away. So I created a few that simply use a few 100% transparent rows of pixels along the top and bottom, to give that look. It also causes most icons to appear larger than the panel, adding a nice effect. I personally think the grey bar with the white border looks nice for someone running a darker theme (really needs white panel text.) I'll try to add some other panel sizes/colors if anyone cares for them. |

As of September 2009 =ImaginaryRosse joined the project and will be helping us out with the weekly choices. While things have changed over time, the essence of the newsletter is still the same.
